The Opportunity: Escape Room Game Master

Are you a natural entertainer with a flair for customer service? We’re on the lookout for dynamic individuals to join our team as Escape Room Game Masters/Hosts. As the face of Unlocked History, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering excitement, intrigue, and
laughter to our guests.

What We Offer:

● Base pay starts at $12.50/hour with increases to $13.00 once you have learned how to host all four of our escape rooms. In addition to the base pay, you can earn sales commissions on merchandise and rebookings, and bonuses for outstanding service.
● You keep 100% of all tips, which average an extra $2-3 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

● Embody enthusiasm and friendliness, creating an atmosphere of excitement from the moment guests arrive.
● You must be a team player. If you have trouble getting along with others, please don’t apply.
● Master the art of quick thinking and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
● Host escape room experiences with finesse, ensuring guests feel welcomed and supported through timely hints.
● Utilize cameras and microphones to monitor and guide guests through their escape journey.
● Capture priceless memories by debriefing guests and snapping their triumphant post-escape photos.
● Ensure each room is meticulously reset and maintained for the next group of eager adventurers.
● Showcase your talents beyond the escape rooms, potentially managing our social media presence or creating new puzzles in our escape rooms.

Requirements:

● Availability to work a 7 hour shift on Fridays and a 10 hour shift on Saturdays.
Other shifts are also possibly.
● A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
● Eagerness to learn and grow, embracing new challenges with enthusiasm and creativity.
● If you are also handy and comfortable building props with your hands, we
would be especially interested in hiring you.
